BarterJar is an event concept/project I have developed and brought to life that involves ‘Swapping fruits of the earth blended with a touch of heart and a sprinkle of art’. It involves events that take produce swapping to the next level where participants bring along and share home made produce or hand crafted products with a focus on sustainability. Everyone comes together for afternoon tea as well as listen to a guest speaker and to share stories, inspirations and techniques in what sets out to build community, networking and engagement.
Having been successful in securing a City of Darebin 'smarty grant' I was able to fund its inaugural event. More instalments to come.
Collaborating with local illustrator Lemon Chicken Por Favor to design the overall branding illustrations. I then rolled this out to various promotion and marketing material such as website, postcards, posters, teatowels, product info forms, labels.
